Welcome to the Colby-Sawyer College Archive

Located inside the Susan Colgate Cleveland Library/Learning Center, the Cleveland Colby Colgate Archives was built in 1996 and is home to many types of primary source material that document the history and development of Colby-Sawyer College, including photographs, correspondence, yearbooks, and manuscripts.

In addition to institutional records, the Archives maintains the Colby Sawyer College’s Special Collections which consists of the college’s selection of rare books, as well as, manuscript collections of the founding family members and notable men and women from New Hampshire, including the late New Hampshire Congressman James C. Cleveland’s papers and the Pillsbury Family papers.

Inside the library, the reading room is just after the Reference desk on the left. The archivist’s office is located inside the reading room.
