description: A tinted tintype of an older man identified as Grandpa Craft. He is balding, and his beard is graying. He also has a fierce-looking gaze, although clearly the identifier of his tintype called him "Grandpa." The 1870 Federal Census identifies him as a laborer, and he and his wife lived next door to Anthony Colby. Perhaps he worked for the Colby family.
