Diet.
Overslept-Had hair appt. at 11:30 + woke the same time. Called George who said fine-come in at 1:30-Ted Hartley called to say he’d gotten the tickets for Friday night + I told him I’d thought he said Monday he couldn’t so we’d made other plans. Found out his agent is George Morris-that’s a little hard to take. Sheldon Andelson called Peter to say that Miss Fink had called him + they’re having lunch tomorrow and will not go through with the depositions on Friday. Presumably Parker is ready to reach a settlement. Peter’s all excited but I’ll believe it when it happens and I’m just afraid they’ll put off the depositions, not reach an agreement + then just have that much more delay. I tried to get Cliff Dektar at ABC + couldn’t. Called the Academy Directory (deadline today) + found I’m due for the next issue. Sent a check + paid our phone bill ($97.90) Left the house at 1:05 Went via Olympic + got there in time. George washed + cut my hair-it’s getting alot faster now. After went to Film Fan Foto + left off negative of my sad [?] photo for more copies. Next to Timmy’s where we talked some of Sid’s play + of our difficulties-I worked on the puzzle + had coffee-Timmy asked us to dinner + I called Peter. Finished the puzzle finally. Judy called with an appt tomorrow afternoon for a dog food commercial at Cascade. She’s going to bring my film by on Saturday. We watched the news Oh my God how this country is tearing itself apart. Then a Japanese monster film about Gigatis-predecessor of Godzilla. Pleasant relaxing evening. Came home + fixed myself a Mott dinner. Actually I’ve had under 900 calories ever since I’ve been on this diet. Fed Jiggs who has diahrea [diarrhea] Oh dear.
