Up fairly early-Did the exercises-had my metrocal. Didn’t look at lines again-no time. Peter drove me up to Price St. + got some pastries at the Food Giant for me to take to rehearsal. Got to rehearsal at ten. Bill arrived about 11:30-we went through the 1st act about 3 times and then after lunch (Delicious lunch prepared by Hope Summers) we ran the 2nd act Bill gave me a very general note that holds true thru-out although especially in the 2nd scene of the 1st act with Edward. I’m too “expected”-playing right on the line. I know just what he means and will have a lot of work to do. I’m so glad he’s watching. Drove home-arrived before six. Was worn out + flopped down for a nap. Peter work me at 8 to say that “Jamie who you knew in Paris is calling from Wichita Kansas.” I was groggy as hell + old Jamie was drunk as a lord but it was good to talk to her again-ou sont les neiges?-She’s Mrs. Doug (Dwayne Ellman) Kays with a 4 yr. old daughter Kelley. I took down her address to write her + then repeated it to make sure I had it correct and she took it down + suddenly said “that’s my address!” Funny call. Peter fixed dinner. He’s been so good to me these last days I can’t stand it-After dinner we played Tangle + Jane came in + played too-all quite late.
